Looking to verify the DNA (Ancestry) of the family of John Lewis, Westerly, Rhode Island, U S A. 1630 + -. My line is somehow goes from Samuel Lewis Sr. being born in Greenbrier, West Virginia, to Rutherford County, North Carolina then to Gastonia, Gaston County, North Carolina. Samuel supposedly died in R. I. with no connection I can locate with W. V. where one side of notes indicate he was born in W. V. Then my GGgrandfather, James W. (William) Lewis appears in Gaston County where he states he was born in Rutherford County.
If you have any information on James W. or Samuel, Sr. , or Samuel, Jr. I would like to see it all. A branch of Samuel seems to go to Indiana the Texas but who knows?
