I'm not an expert, but Florence has a room dedicated to South Carolina history including a genealogy selection at our library. I would be willing to find what I can at the library, our city and county offices, and our local cemeteries, including the Florence National Cemetery, which is the resting place of Union Soldiers who were prisoners of war here in Florence. Can't guarantee results every time, but am willing to do my best.
