Applications to request for vital records through mail are processed within 2 - 3 weeks. Requests for Heirloom Certificates are issued 4 - 6 weeks upon receipt by the Bureau. An expedited process for $11.00 takes about 3 working days upon receipt of the faxed request.
Secured online applications to request for vital records,
which accepts all major credit card payments, can be made through
VitalCheck with an additional charge for their
service.

Certificate of Birth Resulting in Stillbirth (CBRS) shall be
issued upon the request of any of the parents named on a fetal
death certificate.
Remarks: The Bereau of Vital Statistics
requires a fetal death certificate on file in order for a CBRS to
be prepared. The certificate can only be issued from the Juneau
office. Same day service or expedited service is not available for
these requests.
