lookin for DRIESSEN/DRESSEN kin in germany

Journal by gretel

I am researching my grandmother's family - PETER JOH DRIESSEN/DRESSEN BN 10 MARCH 1846 and his wife GERTRUDE HENDRIKS BN 14 APRIL 1846 arrived with family from Amsteram, Netherlands on the sip Schiedam 26 May 1884 castle gardens NY- then found in Jacksonport, WI, USA. They arrived with their 3 daughters ELIZABETH 10, CECELIA 6, ADOLPHINA 2. They had a son born in Jacksonport, Wi Peter John Dressen Jr on 12 Sept 1885. Then they journeyed to Marinette Wi where they lived several years and Gertrude died there in 1898.

Traveling with them was Gertrude HENDRIKS sister and family - JOHN KREBBERS AND HIS WIFE ANNA HENDRIKS - GERTRUDE'S SISTER. They eventually settled in Sturgeon Bay, Wi. They also had children on their voyage from Amsterdam, Netherlands. GERTRUDE AND ANNA were born in Ottersum, Netherlands to Mathias and Anna Sanders Hendriks.

All my documentation in the USA for my grandmother is under Isabelle /Belle Dressen. However, her father was known as JOHN DRIESSEN and JOHN DRESSEN in different census. In Isabelle's obituary it states she was born in Holsterhausen; and Aunt Fanny (ADOLPHINA) was born in Essen, Germany (Prussia).

I have next to nothering except the ship they came over to the USA on. Otherwise no information on PETER AND GERTRUDE'S MARRIAGE AND THE BIRTH OF ELIZABETH 1874 - no further information except which is printed in the above.
