Looking for Abney ancestors

My name is Richard Abney from central Missouri. My father is Vern Abney, his father was Howard Payne Abney from Iowa. Howard's father was Paul Abney, probably from Illinois or Tennessee. Paul's father, I believe was Elias Abney. From there back gets a little sticky.
I believe that Elias's father was Paul Abney. We are now in the 1700's and it gets more confusing. I am looking for help.

d. 10-6-1635 in Leicester England
married Mary Brokesby in 1611 - she was born abt. 1590 in Leicester England - they had about 10 children

married Cassandra Meredith b.1769 in Leicester
They had about 9 children

married Rhoda Norman (b.1768) in Greenvills County Virginia - they had about 11 children .

HOWARD Payne Abney b.16-6-1870 in Richland, Keokuk, Iowa - in the 1880 census of Little Blue, Adams, Nebraska the head of the household was registered as Paul Abney - he died 26-3-1931 in Sedalia, Pettis, Missouri
and I guess you pretty much have the rest as I take it Howard was your grandfather
