Hello, my 3x Great Grandfather was called John Honeyman. I have no date of birth for John, but he married Mary Foggo in 1824, in Kilconquhar in Fife. There was, apparently, a saying amongst the Honeyman family that, "We all belong to Fife". There was a family seat in Fife, so this saying has some validity, although the name has also been found in Ayrshire and Orkney. John and Mary had one daughter, named Margaret.
