WOW1 AND I THOUGHT I HAD QUITE A BIT. THANK YOU GREATLY! Albert C. was my husband's great grand father. We have a book "The Story of the Sherman Brigade" in which Albert has a handwritten note to his son Everett in the front. He was mentioned in the book of having been severely wounded (shattered his right arm) and was discharged before he could receive his commission to sergeant. He suffered nearly 50 years before actually having the arm amputated. I am trying to fill in the years following as a doctor and other associations. Thank you again. SAM
