Laurence/Lawrence James CORBAN Snr. was born in 1870 in Armidale, nsw. and died on 2 July 1943 at Tingha. The son of Edward William CORBAN born 1822 died 7 December 1875 at Armidale and Eliza Elizabeth Jane WICKS born 1840 died 28 May 1915.

His syblings were : William Corban, Mary Ann Corban, Eliza Jane Corban, Johanna (Hannah) Corban, Harriett Corban, Edward William Corban, Michael Corban, Margaret CORBAN, and Emily Bridget CORBAN

His mother was Martha Janet, nee COX born in Armidale in 1877 and died 16 March 1962 at Bundarra, the daughter of William COX born 1850 died 1938 at Tingha and Eliza, nee SQUIRES born 1850 died 1926 at Tingha.
Martha Janet and Edward William had been married in Armidale on the 18 May 1856.

Eliza Jane b. 1897 died in 1979
Edward William born 1899 married Beatrice M Quinn at Moree in 1918. He died in 1981.
They had a son also called Edward William who died in 1928
There was a store in Moree (1930s)called Corban Bros. which specialised in ladies wear.

Lawrence James b: 1900 died at Uralla in 1963
Ruby M died in 1904 at Tingha
Emily B died in 1909 at Tingha
Albert CORBAN b: 1911, died at Bingara on 17 January 1927.
Your Mother Irene Mary died in 1975 you would know her birth date married Inverell 1936
