I'm looking for anyone who knows the story of Catherine Slater has some relationship with the Shea family. Was married to Kirby and had 1 if not 2 children and then had a union with Thomas Barnes and had several children. One of these is Catherine Barnes my Great grandmother but there is no birth certificate to confirm that she is their daughter. does anyone know her birth parents and the story of the Aboriginal connection to this fmily.
