I sent you an email about Junius H Smith, we're researching the same family. We go from Junius like this:

Junius H Smith, Sarah Matilda Smith & William Jesse Manis, William Henry & Lissey Mae Wilson, Freddie Manis & William Burchfield (my husbands grandparents) My husband was raised in Surgoinsville and the fam still lives there. Where is Richard Manis in line with Junius?

The info I have on Junius H Smith is the following:

Born about 1817 in Tennessee
Married about 1844 (Martha Ann Felkner)
Died 9 January 1895 in Elmira Prison, Elmira NY. Elmira Prison was a POW camp for confederate soldiers in the civil war. Look it up online, it was a horrid place to be. That's all I have so far, I'd love to see his pedigree, but can't find anyone that came before him.
