That is them. I apologize for the brevity of my post. I had written a treatise, which was amusing and interesting about the pair, only to accidentally delete it before it was saved. I put the title up with little info in frustration.

Philip Williams is my 4th Great Grand Father, I believe. I have encountered many inequities in this line and wish to "nail down" info. He was apparently married more than once. Gerner Taylor did not see 30, and he did not marry Ann/Anne until 1808. One problem is that her parents are listed as Tunwall Vest and Lucretia Alford, but I cannot find her on the Tribal Pages Vest family tree. There is an ANNA Vest, one year older, but she was married to another man 10 years later. As the Williams Vest pair are buried together in KY, it is unlikely to be the same woman. Also, some of her presumed offspring were born prior to her marriage. Still, in favor of her being the mother of George Washington Williams and George Edward, is the fact that George Washington was a progenitor of the Vest line.

I would love any info regarding the children of Philip and to whom they were born. Did Ann spring from this line of Vests, or another, and also, why has no one noticed that this line of Vests is Powhatan, not Cherokee. Also, Elizabeth Brooks was likely Choctaw, not Cherokee.

M grandmother is a decendant of Ann Vest, her father is Nathaniel Lewis Ramey son of Charles and Sarah Williams Ramey daughter of Phillip and Ann Floating Cloud Vest Williams

If anybody has any info on her parents I would love to know because we are stumped
