attwoodjonny on 2006-07-26 00:11:17hello. my name is jonny attwood and i am just going to start researching my family. i am from carlisle, england although my grandfather was born in northern ireland. he says that we have family in the south of england but im not sure of names. i am going to speak to him and try and get some background info to start my search but as i am in australia at present its hard to get in touch. if i come up with anything i will let you know.

Let me tell you that if you intend to research your family history, then he his the most important link your ever likely to have, get every little detail you can from him, even that which seems insignificant, I started with only family stories, and it proved to be such a help, but have made many a wrong turn, frustrating but so addictive, welcome. attwood on 2011-01-03 13:01:47Hi I live in the south east of london. My grandmother was Doris Attwood who married William Hyde in 1926. She was from Wales and he was from Southern Ireland. If anyone has information on them I would love to hear from them. I have an old photo from 1800's of the attwood family at a funeral. please help would love to track my family. thanks
