He was too old so he took a few years off his age. He had 4 brothers, Ordia Lorenz, Bert, Frank and Jesse Laymen. My great-grandfather was Thomas Henry VINSON born between 1824 and 1833 in North Carolina. He was married to Josephine Ann TEETERS from Cottage Grove, Oregon. His last recorded record is the 1896 voter record in Shasta Co., California. The 1900 census records his wife as a widow in Siskiyou Co., Ca.
