Looking for baptism record of Catherine Lahiff born January 24, 1867 in Wellington, New Zealand. Mother Eliza Fitzgerald Lahiff. Father John Lahiff. (Irish Catholics) I believe she would have been baptized shortly after her birth in local Catholic church

Parents arrived on the ship Berar in 1865 to Wellington
John was a herd from the Burren, County Clare, Ireland (Poulawack)
Eliza Fitzgerald Lahiff was a herd's daughter
They gave birth to one child on board the Berar and christened her Bridget (March 19, 1865 (recorded in Berar Journal by Alexander Jones)
Catherine's birth record is recorded in Wellington, NZ, January 24, 1867

janilye on 2020-07-03 18:07:22She may have been baptised at St. Mary's Cathedral in Wellington. The Cathedral was destroyed by fire in 1898. Records from that time are held in private collection.

It should be a birth certificate.
