Looking for BEAN family Canada / USA

Query by Bonzadel

Have been researching the BEAN family originally from UK have a fair bit back to my G.G.G Grandparents but can always add more , however one Great Uncle has elluded me for 15 years , he is my Brickwall !! his name is VALENTINE BEAN
In the 1881 census of Ewell, Kent, Valentine is noted with his family , living at "Cold Blow Cottage" aged 8 yrs. After that I can find no trace of him .Valentine Bean : Birth June Quarter 1873 Eastry, Kent. Vol. 2a page: 779
Family "recollections" have it that Valentine was some type of engineer in England and drove the dynamo for the lighting of a circus travelling the Uk .some think he married the circus owners daughter but I have not been able to prove this and have not been able to trace the "circus" .
so far this is all the information I can gather :
Valentine sailed from Liverpool on 12th. March 1910 on the "S/S Carthaginion" ( not easy to read ) bound for Halifax in Canada arriving March 28th. at 9.15 am.1910. The ship was given a clean bill of health, there were 413 adult passengers and 85 children under the age of 14 years.a total of 495.
The number of adults to which they are equal under the immigration act : Adults - 413, children - 36 , Total 449. ( I don't fully understand this entry )
It would appear that Valentine was not married when he arrived in Canada, however, recent research by Ted Simpkins shows that on his manifest / passenger list for his 1910 trip he states he is married.Sooo the story thickens !!
His ticket no: is 32818, he had 25 pound cash on his arrival, he was aged 36yrs. (1874) ,states he is married, has never been in Canada before, was born in England, speaks English, destination Hamilton, Ontario, former occupation : Engine Driver, Going to be a Farm Labourer, & denomination: Cof E,

Some researchers that I have engaged seem to think that VALENTINE may have changed his name, I have no reason to believe this as a now deceased aunt used to write to the family in Canada , or so I am told , but he could have travelled to the states as one aunt seemed to remember that he died in the states while on a visit .
There must be family of this man out there some place and I am desparate to hear from them Please.
His sister ANNIE BEAN married a SIDNEY THOMPSON in Hamilton Ontario ,1910 so we wonder did he go to work for them after they married ?? I have tried to trace the THOMPSON family hoping for some information but so far that has been another brickwall the family of ANNIE and SIDNEY THOMPSON were: VICTOR THOMPSON, EDNA THOMPSON (McCONVILLE)DORIS THOMPSON ( BRANDOW )
