Thank you for your help. My Grandfather married Margaret Annie Reardon at Goodoobluie on 29/12/1904. He died in May 1932. His father's name was Peter John Nolan and he was born in Ireland.

Peter John Nolan/Nowlan was born in Ireland in 1819 and died in the district of Murrurundi in 1879 his wife was Bridget T Costello/Costellow her death was registered in Quirindi in 1891.
Their son Henry Charles Nolan/Nowlan was born in the district of Murrurundi in 1876.
He died in 1932.
The birth I gave you is the right one. You'll notice Peter had Nowlan on his death too.
Because of illiteracy there were transcription errors and for that reason there will certainly be spelling variations. nsw.bd&m
