Looking for birthdate & birthplace of Thomas Mitchell + Maria Frances
I need help to find these ancestors of mine
Thomas Mitchell born Feb 1807 possibly born St Alphage,Greenwich,Kent married Maria Frances on 12th Dec 1830 in Chislehurst, Kent.
they had 2 children John Walton Mitchell (b 27 Jun 1836) and William Francis Mitchell (b 18 Jun 1832)
Maria apparantly died in Greenwich 3/10/1838 and Thomas died after 1851
I cannot find the precise birthplace/date (other than thinking it is 7 Feb 1807 in St Paul,Deptford,Lewisham,Kent.
Maria's mother was Elizabeth Frances (still living in 1851) and i cannot find her birthdate or birthplace. Possibly 1892.

aha
that would fit - makes life difficult when you have 2 people with the same name at the same time dying in similar times
good work
she did live in Thames St at some stage
PS I have now found her burial on Free REg
Do you use free reg and if so how can you use up to 10 counties at the same time?

Hello again wizard
I think i have come to a full stop with Thomas Mitchell unless i can see a copy of his marriage certificate which i cannot order - pre 1837.
Do you know how a person in Australia can view an FHL Film
I have Thomas's marriage extract as an FHL film
FHL Film No. 1042460 Indexing Project No. = M14756-Z
Place of marriage = Chislehurst,Kent
Is it a matter of going to some place in Chislehurst and looking it up. I do have a cousin who lives in Deal,Kent but it might be a bit too much to ask of him.
