Alfred Eric Bunn was born at Snapper Point (Mornington) in 1899 reg#29856
Parents were John Thomas Bunn and Sarah Emily Coxhell we were married in 1876 reg#4532
Sarah Emily Bunn died in 1903 at Snapper Point. At the time the family was residing in Albert Street, Mornington.

DEATH.-It is with the greatest regret that we have to record the death of Mrs John Bunn, of Albert street,Mornington, the sad event taking place at her residence on Friday night.The deceased lady, who was very much respected, had a long and painful illness, and her death was not unexpected. Deceased and her family were very popular, as was testified by the large number of persons who attended the funeral at the Mornington cemetery on Sunday afternoon. The service was conducted by the Rev. J.Caldwell, in the absence of the Rev.Mr Woods, who was unable to attend.

IN MEMORIAM.
BUNN. ?In sad and loving remembrance of my dear wife and our dear mother, who passed
peacefully away at Mornington on the 17th July, 1903.
Dear mother ,the husband you left behind,
Will keep your memory dear;
We never can forget the past,
The true, good wife you have been.
'Tis sinful, we know, to wish you were here,
But life is so lonely without one so dear.
A mother more loving ne'er dwelt on this earth,
Nor proved to her children a true mother's
worth.
?(Inserted by her loving husband, John, and sons
Jack, Willie, and Eric, and daughter Emma.)

BUNN.?In loving remembrance of my dear mother,Sarah Emily Bunn, who died on the 17th July,1903, Alfred-street, Mornington, aged 43 years.
'Tis just one year ago to-day, dear mother,
I do remember well,
We sat beside your dying bed,
To bid a long farewell.
We watched you suffer day by day,
It caused us bitter grief
To see you slowly pine away,
And could not give relief.
In her calm, silent grave she is sleeping;
Oh, love one, the dearest and best;
Hushed, hushed be all sorrow and weeping,
Our dear mother is only at rest.
?(Inserted by her loving daughter and son-in-law,
Lizzie and Loo Gordon, of Rokewood Junction.)

Deceased, who had exceeded the allotted span by 10 years, enjoyed good health up to 2 years ago, but from then there was a gradual breakiug-down of the con- stitution. His mental faculties, however, were well sustained, and reminiscences of the early days, as recounted by him, were always in- teresting.
