Looking for CAHILL, James, born 1796, County Galway, IRL, died 1880, Sandwich West, Essex County, Ontario, Canada.

Query by Generaltaylor

James was born in County Galway Ireland, sometime around 1796. He immigrated to Sandwich West, Essex County, Ontario, Canada, sometime between birth and 1825, as I have his marriage record (in French) to Catherine Lebeau (or Leevy), Oct 6, 1826, Assumption Parish, Sandwich West.
I expect he immigrated as a young adult as there are no death records in Canada of his parents, James Cahill, 1771 and Bridget McKnally (sp? Born in France), 1776, so that would put immigration around 1816 to 1825.
This is where I have lost the trail. I do not know;
1) Port of departure, IRL
2) Date of departure.
3) Date of arrival.
4) Port of arrival.
5) Name of vessel.
6) Siblings.
7) Travel companions.
8) Where to find this information
James bought a Farm sometime during that period, in Sandwich West, Essex County, Ontario Canada. It was located on Huron Church road, near a little village known at that time as Jackson Corner.
He and Bridget had 12 children……………….
Appreciate any information or linkage you may have.
Thanks
