My father Charles W. Farley (now deceased) was born in Mcfarland W. Virginia in October 1926. He was the oldest of 3 boys, Charles(Bill), George (Bud), and Robert (Bobby). My grandmother, Sweetland Frances Farley (nee: Roberts) died young, about 1932, leaving a widower and 3 small boys.

I am now in the posession of some letters she had written in the early 1930s. The letters put my grandmother and grandfather in Maumee Ohio, possibly around the time of her death. She was alive in August 1932, however a letter written by my grandfather in September 1933 only mentions that he will have to only visit the boys on certain dates because of his work schedule.
