Franklin Briggs
Franklin William Briggs, 72, of Sequim died on July 17, 1998, in Seattle.
He was born Nov. 22, 1925, in Goodland, Kan. He was a high school graduate. Mr. Briggs served in the Navy during World War II.
In 1973, Mr. Briggs moved to Sequim and developed the Lazy Acres Mobile Home Park.
Survivors include his wife, Lela (Barber) Briggs; two sons, Randy of Silverdale and Carney of Grass Valley, Calif.; a daughter, Sherre Wackerly of Grass Valley, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon July 22, with funeral services following at 1 p.m. at Sequim Valley Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Frank W. Briggs Fund, Key Bank, 120 North Dunlap, Sequim, WA 98382.
