Hi to everyone

I am hoping someone can help with my quest! I have James Thomas CUMMINS b:abt 1916 & Myrtle Maude Peace JONES b:abt 1919. I am not sure whether they were married or in a defacto relationship together.....

My query: They had two sons: John CUMMINS b:1943 Australia & Michael (known to all as 'Uncle Mitch).
Can anyone shed any light for me on the above please??

According to my Cousin, both James & Myrtle are listed on John's birth certificate for 1943. That is all the info I have at this stage.
