t his is the same person as my father was George hackett brothers william and robert HOWEVER i have been unable to find when FBH married Alice

On the 1901 Census it says that,

Frances B Hackett, head married Occ: Scavenger? worker

a copy of Georges birth certificate may give you a clue

This is starting to sound very familiar I'm sure I've worked on this family before. There is a daughter Harriet if I remember correctly baptised and died 1903, notation on baptism PB R.I.P.

and I don't think a marriage was found for Alice & Frances.

yes you are correct you found and gave me alot of info on FBHackett that we as a family did not have,and that as led to us finding family as far back as the 1790,s.My eldesr sister and I are still curious about Elizabeth Gaukrodger and what became of her Thank you once again.

That's a relief I thought I was going senile in my old age, it was the Gaukrodger name that struck me.

I did have a good hunt before for Elizabeth as Hackett and Gaunk/Gankrodger in BMD for death/marriages and Census but she just seems to have disappeared completely.

It's interesting that Francis still says married in 1901 Census

on your father Georges birth certificate does it mention when they were married and does it give Alice surname as Adkham, I've probably asked these questions before.

thanks for that on dads birth certificate it gives her as Alice Hackett formely Askam,but I have been unable to find a marriage for them,and Elizabeth Gaukrodger,certainly dissapears.I am posative that the Peter Hackett mentioned in their Marriage is my G/G/ Grandfather as his father was a Burdett Hackett and his Father was a Francis Hackett. and Burdett as been passed on to my brother and also a cousin in England,regards Stan.
