They were the daughters of Carmelo Palomar and his wife Jessie (nee Bale).

Jessica was born 14 Dec 1916 in Chicago and married an Australian, Walter (Mick) St Leon in Ipoh (Malaya) in September 1937. They had 2 children: Philip Carmelo and Leslie Ann, both traced to Australia.

Leonor (or Leonora) was born in 1920 in Brazil and married Joseph Fabian (Micky) Donnelly. He was Australian, born 1911 and died 25 Jun 1979)
They had 2 children: a daughter Melo Geraldine, born 3 Feb 1952 in Singapore, and a son, Michael Marinus, presumably born in Australia.
