Looking for Descendants of Mathurin Martineau & Madeleine Fiset

Query by Pennie

We have some information on one of the Martineau lines from Quebec.
Most of our records come from the 1800's but a few venture into the very early 1900's. We would like to fill in many empty spaces in our research.
Mathurin Martineau dit St Onge married Marie-Madeleine Fiset in 1690
in Quebec. [they had 8 children.]
Their son Joseph Martineau dit Lormiere married Marie Anne Boucher in
1726 in Saint-Nicolas, Quebec [They had 9 children]
Their son Etienne Martineau married Marie Josephte Genevieve Demers in
1757 in Saint Nicolas, Quebec.[they had 11 childred]
Their son Ambroise-Laurent Martineau married Judith Cadot in 1805 in St. Roch de l'Achigan, Que. [they had 12 children]
Their son Andre Martineau married Josephte Gourd in St Esprit, Quebec.
[They had 14 children]
Their son Andre Martineau married Philomene Lalonde in 1865 in Curran, Ontario.[they had 10 children]
Their daughter Philomene Martineau married William Edward Furlot in 1900 in Montcerf, Quebec. [they had 10 children]
If any of this sound familiar we'd love to compare notes.

Hello,
My own reserach led to a completely different list of children for Mathurin. There are a few digitalized books on Google that can help ( although I find them very difficult to read, it is where I gathered my information). I will post the links to my profile. I hope this helps. If I am wrong please let me know.
I also notice that you are reserching the Boucher line, which I also am researching...we may be related in more ways than one!

Hi -
I am researching the Martineaus as well. Family members before me have traced our line back to Mathurin and Madeleine, via Joseph Martineau and Marie-Anne Boucher. We had a date of 4 Feb 1727 for their marriage - not sure where the documentation for that was. Also we can coroborate Mathurin and Madeleine had a 1690 marriage (our records have 16 Jul 1690 in St-Anne de beaupr?). We have little other information than that for those 2 generations. Also, we don't go any further back than that on the Martineau side. Joseph had a son - Joseph-Marie (b. 23 Dec 1727), who married Marie-Genevieve Lemay on 26 Nov 1753 in Lotbiniere. I am the Great-great-great-great-great-great grandson of Joseph-Marie, 8-great Grandson to Mathurin.
