I have a lot of information on other lines in this family that I would like to share. As well as some pictures. Except for my parents, I have been unable to find pictures and information on the rest of the Ancestors in my line. I keep my word and am an excellent sharer.

I am new to Family Tree Circles and am sure you have gotten many responses. I know nothing about an Ann Littleton. Most of us, have traced our ancestors to the marriage of Thomas Duty and Martha Romans. I descend from Rusell Duty, brother to your George Washington Duty. Then from Russell, to John Hammond Duty, to Thomas Jefferson Duty, Hoover Duty, to me, Kathy Duty Harris. I am happy to share anything I may have if you let me know what you are looking for.
I come from the Mingo County, W. VA. Duties. My grandfather was Cleveland Monroe Duty who married Martha Griffey. My great grandfather was Howard Duty and he married Amy Ferrel. I believe my great great grandfather's name was George, but thats all I really know about him and that was as far as I was able to get. Do you know of any of these Duties?

Give me a few days and I will get back to you. I am in the process of packing to move and don't have access to all my genealogy books. You might try Rootsweb.com and http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/. Both are free sites and the wvculture.org has actual copies of death, marriage and birth certificates up to certain dates that you can print off the computer. The marriages are up to 1969 now and the birthdates are still ending with 1902. I am not sure where the death certificates end, but, I printed my grandfather's off last week and he died in 1960, so they have it through that date. Good luck and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Hello! I am directly descended through William and Catherine. My line is through their son Thomas, then Lemuel, then John Smith, then William Russell, to John Harmon with my Dad being John Harmon's middle son Robert with his wife Thelma Keen. I would love to see whatever you have. I have a few pics of my grandfather and one of his sister Ella and will definitely share what I have. I've just started working on the brothers and cousins etc off of my main line and have William's line traced all the way to Scotland thanks to a Duty researcher who has visited Scotland exploring that line. Looking forward to hearing from you.
This might answer a few questions. I am still trying to dig out my genealogy from my move in August of last year. This is how the line goes from the first Duty's in America to John Smith through Lemuel. I will get back on the one for Larence Duty which I suspect comes from the line that went to the Sciota County, Ohio area through George Washington Duty, Jr. The Cleveland Monroe Duty I have seen but cannot remember where. When I find it I will put it on here. I have photo copies of William and Matthew Duty, as well as John Littleton's wills, plus other Duty Info such as e-mails from E.Z. Duty's relatives regarding E.Z's book on the Southern Branch of the Duty's from which we descend.
