James Edgar was born in 1854 in Derrygarvie, County Londonderry he came to Glasgow in 1883 with his mother Mary Ann Edgar ne.Taylor. James's father was Robert Edgar a Hand Loom Weaver. I have no note of him ever coming to Scotland. Mary Ann's parents were Thomas Taylor and Margaret Church.
