Looking at the info I have found on Edward Lane and after eliminating a few for various reasons, I have come down to two Edwards that would fit. Both born 1811. One in Pembridge and one in Leominster.

if edward and mary got married 1835 then my greatgrandfather had to be born in1837 then that would make about right to have john lane my greatgrandfather because in my book on a story about john and sarah were greggs were the gentlemen farmers and the lanes were the farmers. that helps but who is edward father and edward mother. that helps on the date but need mor info that is great what you have found so far. thank you .
