Looking for Elizabeth CARR of Georgia

Query by jsherling

Elizabeth Carr was b. in Georgia circa 1819 and m. Benjamin J. Moss in Lumpkin County, GA on March 11, 1838. Benjamin and Elizabeth moved to Yancey Co., NC where they lived for many years before returning to Dawson Co., GA. At some point, they lived in Murray County and are believed to be buried in the Palmour cemetary. The Palmours were part or 100% Cherokee from Murray County. Elizabeth may have been the daughter of missionaries or may have been a Cherokee who took an English name when she m. Benjamin. He is listed in a book titled "Whites Living Among the Cherokee". Elizabeth's family cannot be found under Carr's from that area and time.
