Hi Yvonne, my family goes back to Harriett Ann Stevens sister of Stephen (Steve) she was born 1845 and Married Albert Phillips. I have these details of Steve and Ellen.
Steve was born 1847 Macleay River, he and Ellen Jones (nee Moore) had 7 children.
-Stephen Moore born 23/5/1875 m Caroline Wurtz.
-Arthur Edward Moore born 10/7/1877
-Andrew Moore born 10/8/1879
-Mabel Mary Adelaide Moore 10/1/1883
married 1st Herbert Murray, 2nd Mr Pearce
-Henry James Moore born 8/4/1886 m Ethel Priestly
-Ruby Victoria Roseanne Batman Moore b 16/1/1890
married William Sullivan
-Ivy Olive Blanche Moore born 4/4/1893
married Thomas Reddacliff.
Steve was employed mainly as a labourer in the Graman and Ashford area, he lived on "Kulki" and "Karoola" is his early years, then finally settled near Ashford.
All the children used the name of Stevens.
Ellen was born Rangers Valley 1849 daughter of Andrew Moore and Elphemia Batman.
Steve died at Inverell 19/8/1918
Ellen died at Sydney 16/21939
I hope this is of some help. Regards Fay

Hi Yvonne, I am pleased the information helped you a bit with your research. As for the name Stella Rowe, i cant remember seeing that name at all in the searching i have done, sorry. As you can see in the list i sent, it doesn't mention who Arthur Edward, or Andrew married. The other 5 it does, also i only have 7 children listed not 8
I have a spare copy of a small book on some of the history on the family. If you would like to have it just email me with your postal address and i will send it to you. fayfrazer@bigpond.com
regards Fay
