Looking for Ernest Feltus ADAMS of Thames New Zealand and David William CASTLE, bush contractor, Coromandel, New Zealand.

Query by SusanMonk1

Ernest Feltus ADAMS was born in 1965 and had a long career as surveyor and engineer in Coromandel. I would like to know more about his career, projects, and social context.
David William CASTLE was a kauri bush contractor in the Coromandel. Born in 1865. He served in WWI as a tunneller. He died in Paihia aged 72.
These men worked together in building the Waitawheta Bush Tramway to bring out kauri logs. The project brought them together in 1909, both having the reputation of being the best in the business, for this difficult project. The Kauri Timber Company commissioned the work. For a public history project we are looking for more information, ESPECIALLY PHOTOS, of both men.
