Looking for Francis Nicholson Bangor County Down Ireland

Hi, Francis Nicholson married Jane Montgomery around 1830's and their son John came to New Zealand in 1863 with his wife Sarah nee Colville. Apparently Francis had died before then and Jane had remarried and moved to America but I can not confirm this. Other family researchers have our Nicholson family connected to the Nicholson of Balloo/Ballow but I can not find the link. Any help would be gratefully accepted,
