I am looking for any information on James C GILL born around 1819 in TN. Married to Amy ? Had children William B GILL, Emily,Robert,Margaret,Nancy,and Americus,(my great- greatgrandfather).

Americus GILL born in Jefferson County, AL, 1847-1850. Married Susan Wallace daughter of John and Jermina Wallace, born in 1850 jefferson county al. Children: Dora,Signora,Joanna,Cook,Lee andrew, Hugh,Alexander(Jim), Belle, Louisa,(my grandmother), and Cordell.

Brendalair-By any chance are your Gills from Corwall and miners? I have a tree branch I am following right now, Gills from Cornwall(William and Mary Jane)immigrating from England circa 1850 to PA-TN-PA-NJ. Just bits and pieces here and there. I can place them in Ducktown,TN in 1857 according to a letter from a now deceased "cousin" who I can no long inquire of. Does any of this fit into your tree? If so, maybe we can collaborate. lindsidelass

do u know if your GILLs are related to Ella L.Gill born in 1866 or 67 whom was married to Michael GiLL born in 1850 or 51 in Ireland. Michael and Ella had Mary Lue Gill, Patrick Gill 1897 or 96, Edward Gill in 1902or 03, and William Gill in 1909-10? All in Al. I belive .
