Looking for HAGEN - SOLAND - TORGERSON Families of Bottineau County, North Dakota, USA

Query by GypsieShadow

I'm finding this research slow going since there's no one in the family to help.

This is what I've found out so far:

Father:
Charles Alvin HAGEN - born in March 1925, supposedly in North Dakota; died December 1979 while traveling through Stearns County, Minnesota; supposedly buried in Bottineau County, North Dakota.

His parents were Charles (Charley) HAGEN [born 1895 in Norway] and Amanda G TORGERSON [born around 1903 in either Minnesota or North Dakota]; the family was in Bottineau County before 1930.

Charles Alvin apparently had the following siblings: Gilbert - Harold - Ole - Deloris - Arlin - Lyle

Mother:
Nelda Rose SOLAND - born 09 March 1937; married Charles in 1954 or 1955, in Westhope, Bottineau County, North Dakota.

Her parents were William SOLAND [b around 1913; d 1955 or 1956] and Leona HALSEY [b before 1920; d around 1970]; married before 1940. The spelling on Leona's surname is *not* certain - all that's known is that it sounds something like "Halsey" ... at least so far as anyone remembers.

At this point, that's all that's known.

Think about putting your family tree online, that way you might find very distant cousins who may share the same 3g grandparents as yourself as an example - Geni.
