thanks Wizard
Henry was single when he arrived in New Zealand. He would have arrive in New Zealand 1910 - 13 there was a recruitment of young single men from the UK to staff New Zealand's mental institutes.
On enlistment he was a medical attendant, his date of birth is recorded as 4th May 1887.
He was also a keen football player representing Wellington, New Zealand.
He may have suffered ongoing heath issues in later life as a result of service at Gallipoli.
The family you hve listed could fit if Henry was the eldest son the Assistant Storekeeper South Yourkshire Asylum could be a connection.
Regards
Allan
According to the census Henry and Martha had been married for 25 years and had 6 children all still living. So Henry b 1888 would be the eldest.
Thanks again
OK on date of birth it is not that family.
I assume the birth you refer to is in post 3. 2 feb 1888. This is a baptism record so Henry could have been a few days old or up to 2 years old +.
