Of my husband's Whanau, his great grandmother's name was Kuwhara (Hera) MINARAPA Tika 1869~1917 who married Hori Marena 1864~1956 (George Marriner) from the Wellington and Auckland areas of NZ. The couple had 11 children, their 2nd daughter was named Ihapera Marena (Marriner).

Yes - Matehaere is Kuwhara's elder sister their parents were Ngaere Tika Minarapa and Irahapeti (Rihi Tanapo) Stanaway
