Looking for Hosea C. Kring of Southeast Kansas

Query by kring1bc

I'm looking for Hosea C. Kring, 25 Jun 1878 - ? He was born in Grant Township, Neosho, Kansas, but also lived in Baker Township, Crawford and also Bourbon and Allen Counties as well. I have a photograph of his mother (Olive or Olivia "Ollie" Vesper Kring) and the three boys (Charles, Hosea, and Herbert), date unknown.

The three boys were born and raised in Grant Township, in or around Stark, Kansas. For the most part, they stayed close together, moving to Allen, Bourbon, and Crawford Counties, Kansas. Herbert would move to Bartlesville, Oklahoma sometime in 1906 or shortly thereafter. He would later move to Wiggins, Stone, Mississippi, then Moss Point, Jackson, Mississippi. Charles, the oldest, would follow Herbert to Gulfport, Harrison, Mississippi (next county south of Stone) between the mid-1900s and 1916. Ollie, their mother, would also follow to Gulfport around that time.

It is unknown what happened to Hosea. Find-A-Grave, BillionGraves, and numerous other grave websites have provided no burials listed yet. The brothers were fairly close and tended to move to be near each other so it's odd that Hosea didn't follow Herbert and Charlie to Mississippi.

He may have married Bertha "Birdie" Spoleder shortly after the turn of the century (ca. 1903-1906), but I have also seen her listed as married to James Joseph Hosea Kring about this time.

He was listed as Hosea C. in several state and federal census records.

In the photo, I believe it is Herbert, Hosea in the back and Ollie and Charlie in the front.
