Looking for info for Charles Wise who was adopted out by his parents. He married Ethel Green and had Jack, Ken, Ron and Joy. Can anyone help?

ngairedith on 2010-07-21 22:18:42Donald Franklin Charles Wise was born on the 12th November 1901 to Charles William WISE and Minnie Charlotte Macrow FRANKLIN. He died in 1969.
They also had a daughter Alice Elizabeth Mary Wise in 1903. She married Horace Alfred BEAUMONT in 1921
Ethel Annie (nee Green) was born 28th February 1903 and died aged 72 in 1975

I have been recently talking to the Green families and they have a rumor that Charles and Minnie had 12 children and was born 1836ish which would mean he was 65ish when he had Donald. Is that the right birth year for Charles? It was also mentioned that the ancestors had migrated from Germany to New York in 1891 on a ship called the Saale with the name Weiss. It would be very appreciated if you have any information for Charles and Minnie. Names and dates can be so confusing when you are researching. Thank you very much for the info you have shared.
