mmurshedi on 2011-08-27 00:13:52My grandfather was Joseph Benjamin LEE born in Chicago, IL in 1891. His father was Ingvald LEE, born in Norway in 1863. Ingvald and his wife, Anna NELSON, had 10 children, all born in Chicago - Inga, Olga, Greta, Joseph, Steven, Esther, Pearl, Grace, Ransom, and Olive. Invald was born in Norway and the family story is that he was orphaned in a circus fire, adopted and brought to Canada around the time of the Civil War. After the war he and his family moved to Chicago. Let me know if this information helps you.
