Susannah Harper is my great,great grandmother and I am trying to get a birthdate for her to put on a marker in the small private cemetery in Wilcox County, GA where she is buried. I understand her parents were John Harper, III and his wife Anna living near Bentonville. Susannah married James Brown in 1813 and in 1815 moved to what is now Wilcox County, GA. Based on the Wilcox Co 1860 census she was 73 years old at that time, so that would make her birth year about 1787. If there are any old records or Harper family genealogies available that would indicate her birthdate, I would be most grateful and would, of course, pay any expenses in connection with locating the information.
