Looking for information about Marenus Marcus Robinson

I am looking for any information anyone has on my husband's great-grandfather,Marenus Marcus Robinson. The only information we have on him is that he was born about 1835 and was "Of Wisconsin." He died about 1907 probably in Montana. He married Andelusia Walker and they lived in Panaca Nevada.

I am his great grandson and i think i found him on page 6 of the 1870 Ill. census for pope county

Hello: I am a descendant of Marcus's sister, sophronia, who married Allen Vaughn. Sophronia, Stoton, Marcus, and Hannah Robinson were all born in Homer, Cortland Co. N.Y. to Milton and Laura (Treat) Robinson. They moved to Ohio when the children were young. Milton died there and Laura moved to Kankakee, Ill with her children, purchased land and lived there for a time. Hannah Robinson married Nehemiah Vaughn, brother to Allen. Allen and Nehemiah were both in the Civil War, after which they moved to Chickesaw Co. Iowa. Laura Treat later moved there to be with them and died there. Have more but that should get you going. Would like to hear from you. Mike
