Ann Slater born 1 Sept 1822, London England, she married John Ireland a convict on 28 June 1842, St Philip's Sydney, NSW, Australia. Ann's Parents were Joseph and Eliza(nee Chilnam)who arrived in Sydney in 10 March 1839 aboard the Susan, free, with children Ann and Elizabeth. Joseph and Eliza had a futher 6 Children in NSW; Joseph born 8 June 1833, Amelia Harriet born 11 Sept 1838,Henry Hamilton born 29 July 1840, Sarah M born 2 May 1842, and Emma Eliza born 5 July 1848.

Hi raymck, my Slater Family, arrived on the Sultuna 1842, from London England. Ann Slater came with her parents Joseph and Eliza (nee Chilnam). Joseph Slater is the son of William and Elizabeth (nee West), Eliza was the daughter of James and Elizabeth (nee Woodmanlist), both born in London. Joseph died 3 July 1882 Parramatta, Eliza in 1848 Molong. They had 6 other children besides Ann.
Ann was born 1 Sept 1822 London, she married John Ireland 28 Jun 1842 St Philips, Sydney. They had 12 Children. Ann and John both died Danger Village, Narrabri. have more info if needed, best wishes Denise (dodo)

Hi Dennis,
The Slater you refer to is not the same as I am researching. They are form different area of NSW. The one I am interested in is of aboriginal origin. Sorry I cannot help you, good luck in your search
