looking for information on henry and jane hodge

Henry and Jane Hodge are my ancestors, their graves are in the Meredith Cemetary, Victoria, Australia. Henry died 27th June 1903 in his 75th year. Jane died 7th April 1916 in her 80th year.

Henry and Jane Hodge had a daugther, Sarah Pearce (who married T.J. Pearce) she was born 24th January 1874 and died 9th December 1911.

We are also have connections to the East family, Wells family, Thomas family.

We can date back to Henry John Hodge in 1790 in Cornwall.

If anyone has anyone information please help!

I have info on the East Family from Thomas East married to Elizaeth Merriweather, Hendon Middlesex,England. He was born circa 1757, through his son Charles born 22 May 1800 in Laycock, Wiltshire, England. Charles jumped ship on the Sait-Lawrence River in Canada and established the East name in this part of Canada. I would love to know if we are distantly related.

Thats fantastic! However, do you have any information about how the East family got to Australia? We are related to Richard East who died in 1840 in his 86th year and his wife Harriet Rebecca East who also died in 1840 in her 76th year. They had two sons: Joseph and Ernest who were killed in action in 1917. Do you think that Richard East could be a descendant of the Thomas East that you are related to?
