Thank you so much for your help as I've been searching for ages to actually find out where my late great grandfather was born (and only recently (Courtesy of one of his son's death certificate)found out - he was one of Walter's and Grace's sons (Edward Francis) who I believe was only a few months old when his father died. The fact that the census record from 1861 show that walter was a Mason "gels" with information about Grace's father.

try various spelling of the Rettalock name as it varies quite a bit. If you use the person search try using just the initial for first name, and also try using initials for parents in the baptism section rather than full name, sometimes there are abbreviations recorded instead of full name - Wm for William, Js for James and so on.
