Johann Georg Schlicht (or Schlecht) was born in 1825 and emigrated in ~1857 to New York . Have now determined he came from Unterlindelbach in Bavaria and his future wife, Elizabethe Beyer (or Baier), came from nearby Pettensiedel. Does anyone know anything about their parents?
