I'm looking for info about John Craig born about 1831 in UK or Scotland. He came to NZ before 1863, married Elizabeth Ann HODGSON in about 1863 in Wellington. He died in a snowstorm in 1866 in Nokomai, NZ.
He had 2 children: Mary b 1864, John Thomas b 1866.

Where was he born? Any other info?

I received his marriage printout which gave no clues about his origins except that he was illiterate.
