looking for John Moyle and Mary Bond from Cornwall
I am tracing the family of John Moyle and Mary Bond from Gwenap Cornwall. they lived in Triplet near gwenap and possibly later Chacewater Cornwall.
their son Thomas Moyle born in 1811 died sometime before the 1841 census but unable to locate his death at this time.
I also are unable to locate the death of my John and Mary Moyle who were alive on the 1841 census aged 55 and 53. there were numerous other John and Mary Moyle couples in the Gwenap area making the distinction difficult. Any other Moyle researchers researching Moyles from gwenap please email me peterspark@hotmail.com
There was another John Moyle living in the Church Town area of gwenap with his wife Mary. This Mary Moyle became a widow around 1839 and was found on each census up to 1861 as born in Ashburton Devon. I think this John Moyle was baptised in 1778 in Gwenap to Francis and Mary Moyle.
I do not know who the parents of my John Moyle baptised around 1785 are.

Hi there
Thanks for that.
Do you have more details on his baptsim? - ie for the Henry and Mary Moyle being his parents? where and when?? This sounds good as I havent heard of a henry Moyle - love to persue that line.
in regards to the deaths though - they are not right. The john Moyle who died on 28 June 1839 was another John baptised 1778. His wife was a Mary who born in 1790 and died in 1867. My Mary Moyle (nee Bond) was not this mary. My John and Mary Moyle were on the 1841 census - the other Mary was a widow - different children. Email me - so we can chat - peterspark@hotmail.com Cheers peter
The MOYLE surname has been well researched. Our family has a hefty sized book entitled "Faith, Hope & Courage: The story of Edward & mary Moyle and their decentants" by E. Lynch & K. Fincham because my late mother-in-law's ancestors are in it, the Scowns of Cornwall. To see references of this book goto Kete New Plymouth scroll down right hand side to the search field, type in Moyle and click on Go.
thanks for that. Ill have a look. I dont think though we are related to that branch of the Moyles.
cheers Peter
