Looking for KAISER's of Germany>New Jersey>Illinois>Iowa

Query by joslin

I am looking to find the parents of Conrad Kaiser, born in Hermansroda, Saxony, Germany. He came to the United States from Germany in 1851. He had two brothers, George (who later came to the United States around 1860) and Philip who stayed in Germany. Their mother having passed away earlier, their father remarried and had several more children with second wife. I would like to find some record showing who these boys' parents were and what happed to Philip in Germany as George is known to have settled in the state of New York. Although we have no other information on George or Philip.

I made this one KAISER entry into my book "Iowa Connections" - perhaps there's a connection.

KAISER, JOHN
Was born in 1818 in Bohemia. Around 1871 he settled in Ohio with son Michael and daughter Mary Rodda. They all moved to Sac Co., Iowa circa 1877.

I found that Conrad's parents were Micheal Hartmann and Anna Margarethra Scharfenberger Kaiser. I do not recall any John Kaiser in our family history so far. If I do find one I will keep you in mind.
