Looking for Lewis & Johnson in Tasmania

Query by PatKrishnan

Frank was an Australian soldier at the time of his marriage to Lily on 3 Dec 1918 in West Ham, East London. He said his father was Jack Lewis, a Coachman.
Frank enlisted 11 July 1916 Lefroy Tas giving his age as 20 (ie born 1896). His mother Jesse was given as next of kin. He arrived in England 5 Dec 1916 and fought in France.

He left England with his unit for Tasmania 20 July 1919. Lily followed on a ship with other forces wives and dependents. Frank was discharged to Munitions work and he and Lily set up home in Branxholm.

Can't find his death but Lily died 03 Apr 1978 at Hobart, Tasmania. A librarian found a notice of her death in a newspaper which says: beloved wife of Frank (dec), loving mother of Doris (dec) and grandmother of James, Kevin, Steven, Robert and Erica Johnson. Great grandmother of Leslie and Steven.

I would also be very interested to hear from anyone else who might have information about this family.
