Below is a link to the death certificate shows parents as Ernest East and Nora Belanger. Now I know his mother was Bertha Ballinger (his sister was Nora) but what you have to remember is the information on the certificate is what his wife would have stated. She may of had a few details slightly wrong. Belanger and Ballinger are fairly close. Wife name Catherine Christie Anderson. Worth taking a look.
